Do you offer financing for excavators?

ExcaYard does not offer in-house financing or installment payment plans for used excavators. However, we accept T/T (telegraphic transfer) and L/C (letter of credit) through Bank of China, which are the standard payment methods for international equipment purchases. For buyers needing credit terms, we recommend arranging financing through your local bank or trade finance provider while we handle the export documentation, inspection, and shipping.

Payment Methods We Accept

We keep payment straightforward and secure. The two primary methods are:

We also accept Wise for smaller payments or sample transactions. All payments are in USD. For more details on payment terms, see our guide on T/T or L/C for excavator export orders.

Why We Don't Offer Direct Financing

As a China-based used excavator export specialist, our focus is on sourcing, inspecting, and shipping quality pre-owned machines. Providing financing would require a different regulatory and risk framework that we do not operate under. Instead, we work with buyers to ensure the transaction is smooth and the equipment meets expectations. Many of our buyers secure financing locally or through international trade finance companies. We can provide the necessary documentation—commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin—to support your financing application.

How to Arrange Third-Party Financing

If you need financing, here are common routes:

  1. Local bank credit line: Many banks in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America offer import financing for equipment. You'll need a proforma invoice and export documents from us.
  2. Trade finance companies: Specialized lenders can fund up to 70-80% of the equipment value, using the machine as collateral.
  3. Leasing companies: Some buyers lease excavators through local leasing firms that purchase from us directly.

We can provide a proforma invoice and work with your financier to ensure documentation meets their requirements. Note that we do not endorse or guarantee any financing provider.

Machine Condition and Inspection

Every excavator we export undergoes a 150-point pre-shipment inspection. This includes hours verification, paint-thickness checks, and a full photo and video report. You'll know exactly what you're buying before payment. This transparency helps financiers assess the asset value. We source machines from leading brands: Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, Doosan, Hyundai, Kobelco, Sany, XCMG, SDLG, LiuGong, and Sunward.

Documents and Certifications

We handle export certifications required by your country, including SONCAP (Nigeria), SABER (Saudi Arabia), PVoC (Kenya/Tanzania/Ghana), GSA (Ghana), and KEBS. Standard documents include commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and certificate of origin. These are essential for customs clearance and for any financing arrangement.

Shipping and Lead Time

We ship FOB or CIF from major Chinese ports: Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Tianjin. Methods include RoRo, container, or flat-rack. Typical CIF lead time is 28-45 days port-to-port. For a detailed timeline, see our deposit to delivery lead time guide.
