Peru is one sur the world's top mining countries — second-largest copper producer, top-five gold and silver producer. Demand skews heavily toward 35-50+ tonne excavators for mining-support work in the Andes mining belt (Cerro de Pasco, Cajamarca, Apurimac, Arequipa, Moquegua).
For mining destinations, Matarani port (southern Peru) is preferred over Callao for southern mining regions. Callao serves central and northern destinations and Lima construction. Paita serves northern coastal projects.
Spanish-language documentation is appreciated. We provide Spanish-language commercial invoices and packing lists at no charge. Customs clearance at Callao is typically 10-15 days.
