Panorama del mercado

Why Nigeria imports the way it does.

Nigeria imports thousands de excavadoras usadas annually, primarily for construction, oil & gas infrastructure, and quarry operations across Lagos, Abuja, Puerto Harcourt, Kano, and the Niger Delta. The clase 20 toneladas (Cat 320, Komatsu PC200) dominates demand, with 30-35 tonelada máquinas (Cat 330/336) growing in popularity for major infrastructure projects.

Key documentation: SONCAP (Standards Organisation de Nigeria Conformity Assessment Programme) certificate is mandatory for imported machinery. Form M must be filed by the Nigerian importer through their bank before shipment. We provide todos supporting documentation (proforma, packing list, B/L) at standard export quality.

Lagos ports (Apapa and Tin Can Island) handle the bulk de machinery imports. Puerto Harcourt is preferred for Niger Delta deliveries. RoRo and container shipping are both viable; for 25+ tonelada máquinas RoRo is typical.
