Not a marketplace.
ExcaYard does not own yards, does not own machines, and does not pretend to. We are buyers and inspectors on behalf of international clients — paid only when a transaction closes, working only with verified Chinese partner yards that have earned their position on our network.
This structure has three implications. First, we are not limited by single-yard inventory: when a customer’s spec is rare, we have 50+ yards to query rather than one shelf to walk. Second, our incentive is the deal, not the markup on a machine we already own — pricing reflects actual yard cost plus a fair margin. Third, we can walk away from machines that do not pass inspection, even if it costs us a deal.
We measure ourselves on machines that arrive at customer sites and work as described. Disclosed condition, documented inspection, end-to-end shipping coordination, no surprise charges. The promise is unfashionable — honesty — but in a market where most operators add hidden fees, it wins repeat customers.

Each region in our network specializes in different machine classes, brands, and source histories. Sourcing decisions are made against the customer’s spec — not the closest yard. The result: better matches, tighter pricing, and consistent quality regardless of where the unit originally came from.
East China
Volume hub. Largest container port (Shanghai). Construction-grade machines, mid-life hours.
North China
Mining and infrastructure surplus. Mining-spec machines often available here. Tianjin port for RoRo.
South China
Export-savvy yards. Guangzhou & Shenzhen ports. Strong Sany / XCMG inventory.
Central China
Sany OEM home (Changsha). Best access to Chinese-brand machines at competitive pricing.
Northeast
Cold-climate machines. Russia / CIS export route via Dalian + rail/RoRo.
Southwest
Hydro & mining machines. Cost-competitive inland yards.

In-house inspectors
Full-time mechanical inspectors based at our network yards. Each inspector has 5+ years brand-OEM service background (Cat / Komatsu / Hitachi / Sany).
OEM diagnostic tools
Cat ET, Komatsu KomNet, Hitachi Diagnostic Assistant, Volvo VCADS. Connect to the machine ECM and pull live data — verify hour reading, fault history, operator data.
Reference benchmarks
Hydraulic cycle times, engine compression, swing-bearing play, undercarriage chain stretch — measured against OEM published service limits, not visually estimated.
Photo documentation
~80-120 inspection photos per machine. Hour meter, serial plate, ECM screenshot, each major component, undercarriage close-ups, cabin interior, paint condition. All in the PDF report.
Fully licensed
to export.
We hold every license and registration required to legally source machines in China, conduct foreign-currency trade, and clear export shipments. Documents available on request for due-diligence reviews.
