Certifications & Compliance

Our machines comply with the documentation requirements of each export market. CE, EPA, EAC, SONCAP, SABER, PVoC — we coordinate the certificates your market needs.

01

Pre-shipment inspection (PSI)

Many markets require PSI by an accredited third party (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, Cotecna) at the port of origin. We coordinate the inspection at our yard or at the port, pay the inspection fees, and provide the resulting certificate as part of the shipment documentation. This is the most common market requirement.

02

SONCAP (Nigeria)

Mandatory for almost all imports to Nigeria. Issued at origin by SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or Cotecna after inspection. We handle this for every Nigeria shipment as standard.

03

SABER / PCoC / SCoC (Saudi Arabia)

PCoC (Product Conformity Certificate) is issued at origin after inspection. SCoC (Shipment Conformity Certificate) is generated electronically by the importer's customs broker before clearance. We handle PCoC; your Saudi broker handles SCoC.

04

PVoC (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, others)

Pre-export Verification of Conformity — required by several East African markets. Issued at origin by accredited bodies. We coordinate as standard for shipments to these markets.

05

GSA (Ghana)

Ghana Standards Authority Conformity Certificate required for imports. Issued at origin by SGS / Intertek / Bureau Veritas. We coordinate as standard for Ghana shipments at approximately $500-700 per 20-ton class machine.

06

CE marking and EPA Tier

For markets that recognize CE or US EPA emissions tiers, we provide the original manufacturer's certificates with the shipment when available. For older machines that pre-date a given tier requirement, the buyer should confirm acceptability with their local customs before purchase.

07

What we cannot provide

We cannot provide certificates for compliance with regulations we are not party to (warranty extensions from manufacturers, certifications that require the buyer's country presence, etc.). For complex regulatory questions specific to your market, work with a local customs broker who knows your jurisdiction.
