Our inspection covers engine (compression, oil pressure, leaks, exhaust color, start behavior, idle stability — 22 points), hydraulic system (cycle times, pressure relief, cylinder rod condition, hose integrity, oil cleanliness — 28 points), undercarriage (track chain stretch, sprocket wear, idler condition, roller end-play, track shoe condition — 18 points), swing system (slew bearing play, swing motor noise, swing brake — 8 points), cab and controls (joystick function, gauges, AC, seat, ROPS structure — 24 points), structural (boom and arm condition, cylinder mounts, weld inspection — 16 points), final drives (planetary noise, oil condition — 8 points), cooling system (radiator, fan, coolant — 8 points), electrical (battery, alternator, lights, ECM diagnostics — 12 points), and cosmetic/identification (paint, decals, serial number verification — 6 points).

Grade A: machine in service-ready condition, no immediate repairs needed, undercarriage 60%+ remaining, no major component issues identified. Grade B: mechanically sound but with disclosed cosmetic wear, undercarriage 40-60% remaining, or one minor repair recommended. Grade C: priced for refurbishment buyers, specific issues fully disclosed in the report. We do not list Grade D or worse.

Every machine has a written inspection report (PDF) with the 150-point checklist, condition photos by inspection point, hour meter photo, serial number photo, and engine ECM screenshot where possible. The report is available for download on every machine's detail page — no email registration required.

Inspection is a point-in-time assessment, not a warranty. We test under representative load conditions but cannot guarantee against future failures. Our 30-day arrival warranty covers genuine pre-existing defects discovered after arrival; routine wear and tear are the buyer's responsibility.
