Vietnam has rapidly become one of Southeast Asia's most active construction equipment markets. Strong demand from FDI-driven industrial park construction in the North (Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Duong), highway and metro construction in Ho Chi Minh City area, and infrastructure in the Mekong Delta.
Important regulatory note: Vietnam restricts import of used construction machinery older than 10 years. We typically only export 2015+ machines to Vietnam to ensure compliance. Documentation must include the original manufacturing year.
Pre-shipment inspection by Vinacontrol or another accredited body may be required. We coordinate this. Customs clearance is generally efficient at Cat Lai (HCMC) and Hai Phong, typically 7-14 days.
