The Russian market underwent a fundamental shift after 2022 sanctions on Western brands. Cat, Komatsu, Volvo new-equipment sales effectively ceased, and Chinese brands (Sany, XCMG, SDLG, Lonking, LiuGong, Lovol) rapidly captured market share. Today over 70% of new excavator imports to Russia are Chinese.
